Head of Business and Finance – Edinburgh office
Montse is our Head of Business and Finance based in our Edinburgh office at The Melting Pot. Montse joined the team in 2022 and is an integral part of our Leadership team making sure that our Consultancy and Grants teams can deliver high quality work on time and within budget. With a background in the legal system, Montse brings extensive experience in all areas of business support, including financial management and administration. After a decade working in finance for a national law firm supporting private clients and those on Scottish legal aid in both criminal and civil cases, Montse joined Rocket Science because of the wide scope of our work.
Specialist Areas:

- Governance, risk and reporting.

- Managing supplier relationships.

Little Weaknesses:
- Exercising at 6am in the morning and enjoying weightlifting.
- Board games – always preferred a competitive game but nowadays enjoying the cooperative ones more.
- Bimbi, my Thermomix – I’ve always cooked a lot but didn’t bake until I got Bimbi who even comes on holiday with me!
