Bushra Ahmed – Advisory Panel

Bushra Ahmed is a business woman, NED, strategic consultant and community activist, with over 25 years of experience in strategy, governance, finance and community engagement. She is a respected public speaker, advocate who uses her lived experience and expertise to promote social justice causes and to advise a wide cross sector of senior leaders around issues of power, diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural intelligence.

Bushra was shortlisted in 2022 and is a nominee again for the National Diversity Awards 2024, for Positive role model for Gender and is a winner for Equality X – Top 50 influential Muslims in Europe.

Bushra is a Trustee of Lloyds Bank Foundation and many other national and local boards, including as a member of the Survivors Advisory Forum at National Emergencies Trust. Bushra founded West Croydon Voice, after her family business was destroyed in the 2011 Riots, to successfully fight for millions of pounds of compensation for the victims.
