Grant administration and assessment for the North of Tyne Authority Community Renewal Fund
Rocket Science worked with North of Tyne Combined Authority to design and implement an assessment process and framework for the North of Tyne Community Renewal Fund (CRF) programme. The UK Community Renewal Fund is a £220 million investment across the UK, and is the pre-cursor to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The project involved supporting NTCA to design and implement an approach to CRF bid assessment, meeting the criteria set out by central government as well as addressing local priorities; undertaking assessments of CRF bids received and supporting the NTCA with the prioritisation exercise, to agree a final CRF programme for submission to MHCLG. Rocket Science also worked on a similar project with South Tyneside Council.
