Inspiring Scotland Evaluation of the SOCAS fund

In 2022-2023 Rocket Science was commissioned by Inspiring Scotland to evaluate their Survivors of Childhood Abuse Support (SOCAS) fund supporting organisations who provide trauma-informed support to survivors of childhood abuse. Our mixed methodology approach was able to provide insights into the support needs across Scotland, as well as the impacts the organisations of the SOCAS portfolio have.

The evaluation included a literature review of good practice, engagement with all 29 organisations of the portfolio and a number of their stakeholders, as well as engagement of 119 survivors of childhood abuse.
