Translating research and evidence into change.
What I do
I work with clients to build evidence, understand their impact and support decision-making about programmes, funding and strategy. Across projects, I enjoy trying to understand complex and nuanced challenges, experiences and mechanisms of impact.
I do this through qualitative research and evaluation, evidence and literature reviews and synthesising information into clear narratives and recommendations. I frequently work on projects involving sensitive topics and inequalities and am committed to using trauma-informed, ethical and safeguarding approaches to engage with vulnerable and often unheard groups.
MY STORY
Before joining Rocket Science, I completed a BA in Human Geography at Durham University, giving me a strong foundation in social research approaches. I went on to explore how people, nature and environmental change are connected by taking an MPhil in Anthropocene Studies at Cambridge.
My background in geography has built my understanding of how people, places and systems come together shape outcomes. At Rocket Science, this helps me to think at the intersections of challenges and link the details to the bigger picture.
